The Verdion Centre for Green Chemistry is the innovation and development platform of Verdion Bio-Chelates, focused on creating the next generation of high-performance, environmentally responsible chemical solutions.


Our work brings together green chemistry, chelation science, phosphonate chemistry, formulation technology and application research to develop products that deliver technical performance while reducing environmental impact.


From Chemistry to Commercial Solutions

We focus on translating scientific concepts into practical, scalable products for industries that depend on effective chelation, sequestration, complexing and formulation technologies.


Our areas of development include:

  • Organophosphonates — HEDP, ATMP, DTPMP and their salts
  • Green chelating agents — including GLDA and next-generation biodegradable chelates
  • Bio-chelates and sustainable mineral complexes
  • Specialty formulations for agriculture, water treatment, industrial cleaning and other applications
  • Process optimisation to improve yield, efficiency, quality and manufacturing economics
  • Replacement chemistry — developing sustainable alternatives to conventional, persistent or environmentally challenging chemistries
